I'm back - with a rotation

Hello, dear blogging friends,

in the past I sometimes tried to rotate my projects but most of these rotations didn't work. The only one that worked for a while was the one where I use the Random Number Generator.

I use the Random Number Generator to choose one of my WIPs from the list and then I work on it for three days or more. And when I feel like starting something new I will do so instead of choosing a WIP. Maybe I won't get anything finished this way but I will have a lot of fun.

It's always a bit of an exciting moment when the number comes up and I have a look at the WIP list to see which project bag to pull out.

I started the rotation at the end of February when it was ice-cold here - the "Beast from Siberia" was reigning. The first number that appeared was

#12 Snow Days by Mirabilia. And the first thing I thought was: Oh no, no project where I had to stitch snow. But then I started and hey, it wasn't that bad at all.

You can see that I worked my way all through the snow on the right hand side of the snowman down. And a little bit in other places - but it was always snow.

When the cold was over and spring showed up I changed projects. The next number was

#4 Old Teddies by Anna Krajewski, a Sunset kit and one of my oldest UFOs which has now become a WIP again.

I decided to do a little bit of backstitching and started with the picture above the teddies.

The alphabet is finished, I just need to add some French knots to the trees in the yard. I have no idea what the little animal is supposed to be, maybe a dog or a goat. It looks a bit weird but I'll leave it the way it is.

The next project won't be chosen by the number generator but I want to stitch on my Dutch Beauty for a couple of days before I go back to the random numbers.

That's all for today. I hope that the cold waves and storms are over and that you are enjoying some nice and warm spring days where you live. Or maybe the first most pleasant autumn days.

Happy Stitching!
