Hello friends,
here comes the next Alphabet Club post. Although I'm still behind I want to do all the letters. And I definitely don't want to leave the S out because of the German cake that I have chosen. So let's go.
S = Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte = Black Forest cake
I'm sure that the best Black Forest cake is made in the Black Forest, where I live. I have never made one but whenever I want to eat a piece I buy it in my favorite bakery. And believe me, it's delicious!
S = Startitis or serial starter
I love starting new projects. I just love it. So, can it really be that I haven't started any new projects since March? That's nearly incredible for a serial starter like me. So I have to remedy this. There will be new starts to be seen very soon.
S = Sunflowers
Sunflowers are wonderful flowers, aren't they? I do love this part of summer when you see sunflowers fields here and there.
Here are some sunflowers that I stitched in the past.
And there are some charts with the sunflower theme in my stash. Maybe one or two that I will start soon?
S - Stitching/sewing case/bag/purse
I love this way to fully finish a project and there are so many different techniques to sew a stitching bag/case. I used to make many stitching bags and most of them were for exchanges. But there is only one that I made for me. You can see it here. And these are some of the ones that I sent as gifts.
Unfortunately I didn't take notes of the designer of the following stitching case, I just think that it's a French designer. If you know her name, please, let me know.

And this is a pattern by Opportunity Two. I made a little bag and the needle case.

That's all for today. The Alphabet Club is the baby of Chiara of The Grey Tail and Jo of Serendipitous Stitching. If you want to read more about it, just go to the button in my side bar. Or go to Jo's blog, she has opened a link-up for this month's participants.
