It's been quite a while since my last post. And I was stitching. And even had some finishes - a big one and some small ones. Back in November I finished one of my BAPs:
It was one of the first cross stitch charts that I bought when I started cross stitch about 15 years ago. That was before there was the Internet and there were only a few options to buy cross stitch charts. Then I discovered an ad of the only distributor of American cross stitch charts here in Germany and ordered her catalogue. My first order from her contained some Prairie Schooler books, a Paula Vaughan chart and two Jeremiah Junction charts. I still have them all, but well, it took me 15 years before I stitched Hearts Full of Love.
After that finish I started with some Christmas stitching, so my next finishes were these:
This chart was also among my first cross stitch charts I ever bought, and I've been hooked on The Prairie Schooler designs since then. I'm getting nostalgic these days, it seems.
And then came the IHSW and I decided to dedicate the weekend to finish-finishing - something I try to avoid as much as possible, lol. I completed three Prairie Schooler pieces that I had stitched together with the three Santas above.
These little ornaments were supposed to be sent as Christmas gifts but I didn't manage to send them out right after finishing them, so they will have to be after-Christmas gifts.
Now it's time to do some planning for the next stitching. I always love to do this and it's one of the highlights at the beginning of each year. I'm already very excited!
