... and it feels great, dear friends. I hadn't lost my mojo, no, but since my planning phase I just want to stitch from the morning until the night. Of course, that won't last forever but am enjoying it as long as it lasts. And so I managed to have a new start, some progress on one of my WIPs and even a finish.
My new start
already happened at the end of last year. As I wanted to stick to my plan to choose new starts from my Alphabet Club folder and because I wanted to stitch something colourful I chose this hydrangeadesigned by Véronique Enginger.
It was so much fun to stitch with these different pinks and reds that I couldn't put the project down. After stitching on it for about two weeks the hydrangea was done.
Doesn't it look great? There was a lot of colour changes and also confetti stitching but I must admit that I love this in a design. There is still a lot to stitch on it but that is for another time.
The first WIP
that came out of the box was drawn by the random number generator. It was Paysage d'hiver byHélène Le Berre which I started last summer.
I added the trees, two stags and lots mountains and snow before I put it back into the WIP box again.
The second WIP (which became a finish)
was chosen by me because I needed some colours and some flowers after stitching so much snow and also seeing much snow outside. Here is where I left it last summer.
I couldn't stop stitching until it was finished, so here is my first finish of the year.
Aaaaaaand two new charts
although I wanted to stitch from my stash only. From my Alphabet Club posts you know how full my Alphabet folder already is. But sometimes I feel the urge to support the cross stitch designers :) Here is what I ordered from my favourite Italian ONS after they offered me a 15% reduction.
I can't wait to start these projects and I know that they will be a lot of fun.
This is all from me today. Thank you for all the wonderful comments that you left on my last post. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to answer, maybe I will manage to do so during this week.
